[November delivery] Vintage furniture has arrived

Hello. This is Greenwich Daikanyama. As November begins and the temperature drops sharply, we can feel that winter has finally arrived. I'm sure many people are already preparing for winter.

We have a lot of vintage furniture in stock this month. Unfortunately, the number of pieces is small, but we will introduce each piece one by one so that you can get a sense of its charm.

In Scandinavia, where daylight hours are short and people spend most of their time at home, sewing and knitting cultures are thriving. Furniture designed for this lifestyle is an item unique to Scandinavia.

It goes without saying that it was designed by the well-knownHans Wegner . There are many sewing tables, but this one is so stunningly intricately detailed that it leaves you speechless.

The round basket is made of rattan. The precision of the weaving shows the craftsmanship of the artisan. It is in very good condition. The drawer has many dividers to make it easy to store small items, and there is also a special space at the end for storing bobbins and thread.

It's fine to just display it as it is, but how can we bring out the best in it? With that in mind, we decided to display it in a scene of someone knitting. Of course, you can put everyday items or accessories in it, but I think you can appreciate the quality of the item more if you use it for its original purpose.

Although it is wide, it is a low sideboard that everyone is looking for. We hear many people say, "I've been looking for it for a long time, but I can't find it," or "I wanted to buy it, but it was sold out." I think it is a representative example of a Scandinavian vintage piece that you want but can't find.

The center and right side are two simple shelves. You can store your daily necessities, magazines, work tools, etc., or whatever you like.

On the left side are five moderately sized drawers. I am one of many people in Japan who particularly want small storage spaces. You can use it without them, but perhaps it's a sense of security to have a place where you can quickly store things in a limited living environment. After all, having this kind of storage space makes things much more convenient.

My personal favorite is the tabletop. The joints in the wood are heart-shaped. There are about three of them. I'd like to show you all of them, but I'll only show you one. It's cute.

Dining chair with fabric back and seat. The back is almost at a right angle, so you can maintain a straight posture. It is also shallow, so even small people can sit comfortably. The rare rosewood has a deep luster and beautiful grain.

The fabric is from Danish Art Weaving, a long-established manufacturer in Denmark. You might think that the pattern is a bit flashy, but the subdued textile makes it easy to use as an accent. The stripes peeking out from the table are very adorable.

This chair is anonymous but in very good condition. The back is rosewood and the frame is afromosia. It is upholstered in light blue and olive colors.

It would be nice to have both colors side by side. The price is reasonable, so it is recommended for beginners who want to start collecting vintage items.
