当店のヴィンテージ家具はリペア工房担当が1点1点丁寧にコンディションを確認しながら作業をおこなっておりますが、40年~70年以上前に製造、使用されてきた家具です。
ぐらつきや強度・引き出しの滑りチェックは製造当時の強度を出来るだけ再現するように施していますが、ヴィンテージの風合いを敢えて残すこともあります。
また、細かなキズ、ダメージ、リペア跡は全て掲載できない場合がありますので予めご了承の上ご購入下さい。

品質には自信を持っておりますがあくまでもヴィンテージ家具(中古)です。 傷や風合い、歴史も含め、あなただけの家具として楽しんで頂けると嬉しく思います。

二種類の異なる性質を持つオイルを塗り重ねることで、水で濡れたコップを24時間放置しても輪ジミができなくなりました。

デンマーク・コペンハーゲン生まれ。デンマーク王立芸術アカデミーでデザイン建築を学び、1930年に自身の建築設計事務所を設立。ミース・ファン・デル・ローエらの影響下の元、機能主義を掲げた数多くの建築を手掛ける。

またヤコブセンは建築だけにとどまらず、内装や家具、ファブリックから食器に至るまでトータルデザインすることもあり、その中で最も有名な建築物がコペンハーゲンのSASロイヤルホテル。フリッツハンセン社で現在も製造されるスワンチェア、エッグチェアなどは、このホテルのためデザインされたものとして知られている。

家具のデザインでいえば、背と座が一枚の3次元成形合板で作られた世界初の椅子：アントチェア、その後発表されたセブンチェアはあまりにも有名である。建築、家具デザイン双方の歴史に名を残す、北欧を代表する偉大なデザイナー。

遠くデンマークから届いた家具たちは、傷や欠けなど当時の使用した人たちの痕跡にあふれていて、そこから歴史や当時の人たちがどう過ごしてきてか感じ取れます。
リペアの際はその想いにふれ、次に使う人の事を考え、オリジナルの形状を大事にしつつ、欠損した部分の補修や汚れを落としてきれいにし、より長く使えるにはどうすればいいのかを考えながらリペアを進めます。
永く愛着を持って使用していくには直しながら（メンテナンス）大切に使い続けるということが必要になってきます。
グリニッチではご使用年数に関わらず修理・メンテナンスを承っております。
