リンドベリが三角に似せた形をつくったためできたシリーズ

陶器をはじめ絵本の挿絵、テキスタイル、プラスチック製品など、様々な製品をデザインしてきたリンドベリ。
スウェーデンでは「彼の息のかかったアイテムが無い家は存在しない」と言われるほど。
スウェーデン国民をはじめ世界中からずっと愛され続けています。

ウェグナーやモーエンセンなど偉大なデザイナーは様々な会社を移籍しながら、製品を開発してきましたが、
不思議なことに多才で多様な製品を生み出し続けてきたリンドベリは20歳でグフタフスベリ社に入社してから定年までずっと創作活動の基軸をこの一企業に置いていました。
陶器作家リサ・ラーソンの才能をいち早く見出したのも実はリンドベリで、彼がグフタフスベリ社にリサを直接スカウトしたのでした。
わずか12年でグフタフスベリのクリエイティブディレクターになったリンドベリと彼の作品を生産し続けたグフタフスベリとの関係は非常に理想的なものでした。

このLAコロラドは、お皿が丸い形だけではつまらない、と思ったリンドベリが三角に似せた形をつくったためできたシリーズです。
プレートを何枚か重ねた時の不揃いな印象が、食卓に楽しげな印象をもたらします。
