Q.What is Hilari?
This is a color paint for interior walls made from clay, a material that comes from the earth.
The first thing you'll notice when you open it is that, because it's clay, it doesn't have much of an odor.
It is suitable for buildings that suffer from dampness and allergies.
The natural clay material gives it a beautiful texture and matte finish.
Q. How natural does "Hilari" sound?
Hilari is an environmentally friendly paint that does not contain petrochemicals.
While other companies' acrylic paints are made from acrylic or urethane, which are petrochemical products, Hilari is made from clay, which is an inorganic, natural material.
Q. Why use moisture-regulating paint?
Moisture-regulating paints take in moisture from the air and release it back into the air as if the wall were breathing. They prevent moisture from accumulating inside the building and suppress condensation and mold, keeping the building healthy for longer. The effect is even greater when used with building materials that can breathe moisture.
Q. Does Hilari contain any VOCs (volatile organic compounds)?
Well-known examples of volatile organic compounds include toluene and xylene, which are used as organic solvents in paints. Hilari is made from natural clay and does not contain any organic solvents.
Q. I suffer from allergies/asthma. Will Hilari be ok for me?
Many allergy and asthma sufferers will appreciate the advantages of Hilari.

Q.What is the main ingredient in Hilari?
It is composed almost entirely of natural ingredients. The ingredients are as follows:

Q.Are the preservatives safe?
Yes. We use ingredients that are also used in cosmetics, so you can use it with confidence.
Q.Are there any rooms that are suitable for painting with Hilari, and any that are not?
Surfaces painted with Hilari cannot be wiped clean with water, so it is not suitable for places where oil or water splashes may occur, or for bathrooms. Its characteristics can be fully utilized in living rooms, bedrooms, etc.
Q.Is it unsuitable for exterior walls?
Not suitable for exterior walls.
Q. Can Hilari be applied over vinyl materials?
It can be overpainted without any problems.
In some cases, we recommend treating the painted surface.
Q. How should I store and dispose of unused paint?
If there is any remaining paint, close the lid, store it in a dark place and use it up as soon as possible.
If you put brushes or other items directly into the container, the natural paint may rot.
When disposing of the product, please do not dispose of it directly into the water supply, but follow the regulations of your local government.
Q: What should I do if it gets on my clothes or other items?
If it is before it dries, it can be washed off with water.
Even if it hardens, you can remove the stain by rubbing it with hot water.
Q: Are there any safety precautions?

Q.What is a matte finish?
The matte type of soil paint allows you to enjoy the soft atmosphere unique to soil.

It is easy to apply for DIY, and is recommended for first-time painters and beginners. *If you are using it around water, a top coat is sold separately.

Detail詳細情報
一般財団法人 食品分析センターにて ソイルペイントHiLaRiを塗ったプラスチック片（200mm*200mm*10mm) がどれほど匂いを吸うのか、検査いたしました。
アンモニア、メチルメルカプタン（生ゴミ特有の匂い）、 そしてホルムアルデヒドの3種類のガスです。
検査の仕方は0.5m3ほどの空箱を2つ用意し、2つの箱にガスを入れます。 一つの箱はそのまま、もう一つの箱にはHiLaRiを表面に塗ったものを入れます。
アンモニアの箱は3時間ほど、メチルメルカプタンの箱では12時間ほど ホルムアルデヒドの箱では6時間ほどで箱内の全てのガスを吸収してゼロにしたという検査結果です。

DIYで家全体にローラー、ハケを使って塗りました。DIY初心者でしたので最初は少し苦戦しました。
水で薄めて塗ると塗りやすくなります。また少しムラっぽい感じも出るので薄めて塗るのは個人的にはおすすめです。
キッチン腰壁、洗面回り、トイレ、ドアにマットタイプのものを利用しました。
グレー系の色を壁に、ドアにはグリーン系のものにしました。
グリーン系のものはサンプルのものよりも実際は明るかったので、グレーのものと混ぜて使うと落ち着いた雰囲気になりました。
ドア等よく触る場所や水かがりがあるところはトップコートを塗っても汚れは付きやすく、水拭きはできません。
なので結局、お手入れが大変になってしまうので仕方なくウレタン塗装を上から塗ってしまいました。
ただ、自分が長く住む家であれば汚れてしまっても気分転換に塗り替えするのもありだと思います。
