Your own way of living. Your own way of having fun.
A high-quality standard lifestyle.

Our lives are filled with things and information, and we seem to live in a prosperous society where we lack nothing. However, I think that an increasing number of people are beginning to feel a sense of unease.

While we do not deny the convenience and affordability of mass-produced products, we believe that it is not objects that enrich people, but rather that true inner richness is born from people choosing the objects they want, growing attached to the things they truly want, and continuing to use them every day.

It is also true that accelerating mass consumption and mass waste are diminishing the wisdom, effort, time, values, and environment that our predecessors used to create the products of the future.

I carefully select only the things I really love and try to avoid owning unnecessary things.
By continuing to use high-quality items that you like for a long time, you will feel good every day, develop an attachment to them, and they will serve their purpose as a product. They are also kind to the environment.
A "high quality life" may be that kind of "ordinary, orderly life."

In this age of material saturation, it is important to choose a partner that you can use for a long time.

High-quality items that we carefully select enrich our lives and bring a high quality of life. They are not expensive items, nor are they items that pursue only trends or rarity. They are items that are very close to us. They are items that we use unconsciously. Isn't this the ideal?

Having the things what you really love will enrich your life more than you think.

FDB Møbler

A brand that has enriched the lives of the Danish people and improved their aesthetic sense.

In 1866, during the late Edo period in Japan, local priest Christian Sonne established a distribution system and formed a cooperative, the precursor to FDB, so that ordinary people in Denmark could obtain essential food more optimally. Later, Severing Jogensen, who was in charge of the Association for Daily Life in the Jutland Peninsula in Denmark, brought together cooperatives in various fields with systems similar to those established by Sonne, and founded the Danish Consumer Cooperative Union (FDB) on January 1, 1896. Then, in 1942, with the aim of improving the standard of living of consumers from the perspective of the interior business, a furniture division was organized within FDB, and FDB Möbler was born.

FDB Möbler furniture was born from the inevitable blend of uncompromising product development, the skilled craftsmanship of its artisans, and the culture nurtured by Scandinavia's history and geography, all of which were born under the revolutionary and demanding development conditions at the time of their creation - "durable, beautiful, functional, and affordable" - and has enriched the lives of the Danish people, while also improving their aesthetic sense.

Børge Mogensen, who studied under Kaare Klint, known as the father of modern Danish furniture, was appointed as FDB Møbler's first head of planning and design, and Paul M. Volta took over as the second. Famous designers such as Hans J. Wegner were among the project members, and they produced many masterpieces that became models for Danish furniture that was created later, and many of the Danish designs we see today were born.

String

String shelf has been loved for over 60 years and is said to be owned by two out of three Swedes.

The String shelf, a Scandinavian staple, is an essential part of Scandinavian interior design.

The reason for its popularity is its simple design that blends in with the room and its functionality that can be expanded one after another. When asked "What is design?" IKEA's head designer praised string so much that he answered, "It is String itself."

String, which has long been a national favorite in Sweden and used throughout Scandinavia, has in recent years become explosively popular again among young people in Europe, and is now finally coming to Japan.

If you are worried about installation, don't worry. We can install it on a normal wall, and we will tell you how to install it so that you can restore it to its original state. Make effective use of a blank wall by turning it into a show space with your favorite items.

Come experience the Nordic lifestyle with String.

101 COPENHAGEN

A brand that offers a wide variety of home accessories that combine the symbiosis and fusion of traditional Nordic and Japanese design

This Danish brand was founded in 2017 with a strong vision of "combining exquisite craftsmanship, quality, and timeless design to create beautiful lighting and home accessories that harmonize with the Nordic lifestyle." The combination of these three elements - material and texture, design aesthetics, and organic, calming color schemes - has led to the creation of a diverse collection that ranges from eye-catching, innovative designs to timeless pieces.

At the heart of the brand's creativity is the fusion of Nordic design tradition and Japan's timeless approach to materials and technology. Christian Sofus Hansen, one of the brand's founders and designer, came to Japan after graduating from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. He studied at the Kyoto Institute of Technology. Each product reflects the symbiosis of Nordic and Japanese design, while expressing their respective backgrounds, symbols and associations in a minimalist way. Unique and timeless pieces are created in a free environment that incorporates a holistic and dynamic design process.

Among the items are the "Origami Vase" series and "Geta Tray" inspired by traditional Japanese culture. Even Japanese people find them nostalgic and familiar because the designs of two far-flung countries have blended and coexisted. The appeal of the products they create lies not only in their unique and timeless designs, but also in the stories they tell.

[Operating Media]

When your life is enriched, your work will be more enjoyable. When your work is more enjoyable, your life will be enriched.

"A rich lifestyle" is a phrase we hear often these days, but what does "true wealth" mean?

Being rich means having a lot of money, being recognized at work, or spending time with your family?

Perhaps "wealth" differs from person to person, but we believe that if you know what "true wealth" means to you, you will enjoy many things more and your life will be happier.

As a company that deals with lifestyle, we believe that the values towards "work" and "life" of the Nordic countries, known as "rich countries," are one of the factors that produce wonderful designs and furniture.

The Nordic countries are known as "rich countries" because people there enjoy both fulfilling lives and jobs.

We would like to present the Scandinavian values and outlook on work that enrich our lives as one way of thinking, and by learning not only from the Scandinavian way of thinking, but also from the many people in Japan who have work values that go beyond just money and who are trying to make many other people happy through their work, we hope to become a media that allows many people to discover what "true wealth" means to them.
